鄰苯二甲酸酯，又稱酞酸酯，縮寫PAEs，是鄰苯二甲酸形成的酯的統(tǒng)稱。（簡言之就是塑化劑的一種）當被用作塑料增塑劑時，一般指的是鄰苯二甲酸與4～15個碳的醇形成的酯。其中鄰苯二甲酸二辛酯是Zui重要的品種。鄰苯二甲酸酯是一類能起到軟化作用的化學品還可干擾內(nèi)分泌系統(tǒng)。
鄰苯二甲酸酯主要用于聚氯乙烯材料，令聚氯乙烯由硬塑膠變?yōu)橛袕椥缘乃苣z，起到增塑劑的作用。它被普遍應用于玩具、食品包裝材料、醫(yī)用血袋和膠管、乙烯地板和壁紙、清潔劑、潤滑油、個人護理用品（如指甲油、頭發(fā)噴霧劑、香皂和洗發(fā)液）等數(shù)百種產(chǎn)品中，但對人體的健康有嚴重的危害。
