This European Standard specifies re determining thesafety, structural strength and durability of all types of seatingthat are permanently fastened to the floor and/or wall, whether inbench or individual seat form. This standard does not apply tolinked seating not fastened to the floor and/or walls and streetfurniture. It does not include re for resistance toageing, degradation, flammability, the effect of ambienttemperature and the durability of upholstery materials. Thestandard has two annexes: - Annex A (normative) Additional testmethods; - Annex B (informative) Test severity in relation toapplication.
