Detect ESD Events in your Process

The PED-718 is a portable indicator that will help you ESD events in your process. If you’re handling ESD sensitivedevices, use the PED-718 to detect and count discharges as well asshowing you the relative strength of each ESD event.

Fully Adjustable Alarm

Settings give the user the ability to adjust the alarm thresholdto detect and count only those discharges that exceed thethreshold. The LED’s will turn red if the discharge exceeds thethreshold. There is a sound switch that can also be used to detectESD events that exceed the threshold.

Evaluate the Effectiveness of your ESD Program

To confirm that your ESD protection is effective is to knowwhether you have ESD events in your environment, how strong theyare and how many of them occur. The PED-718 is the right tool toshow you the effectiveness of your ESD program.

The PED-718 is capable of rejecting most non-ESD related EMIevents by using a filter that separates and rejects signals thatare different from classic ESD events.

A Valuable Add-On to your ESD Kit

Installing and maintaining an effective ESD program requires awide range of measuring e The PED-718 can help determinethe source of potentially damaging ESD events and is an importantpart of every ESD coordinator’s tool kit.
